and add it to your Blogspot blog.
Once you have your custom domain, logging to Blogspot dashboard and click on settings and head over to basic and click setup a 3rd party URL.

Submitting your blog to Google is very important you only need to head over to Google search console formerly Google webmaster https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en and click on add property.
Type your blog address, and click on add it, will ask you to verify that you are the owner of the blog by posting some HTML code on your blog.
copy the code and go to your Blogspot dashboard and click template >> edit HTML search for <head> just below the head tag paste the code there and head over to Google and click verify.

Tips #7 on how to add Sitemap on blogspot 

A sitemap is the entire map of your blog that Google bots crawl to see all the contents of your blog its very import to add it on your blog for Google to crawl your blog on a daily basis.
Adding site sitmaps to Google head over to your Google search console click on sitemaps under crawl session click Add Add/Test Sitemap and add this code “atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500” and finally click submit button and Refresh the page.

Tips #8 on how to index new blog post faster 

Finally to make Google crawl or index your new blog post fast you navigate to Google search console and click crawl then choose Fetch as google and add your new blog post URL and click on fetch.
